Johanna began her career in healthcare with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Berea College, later adding a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and an associate’s degree as a Nurse Paralegal. Her blend of clinical and legal knowledge positioned her perfectly at the intersection of healthcare and law.

She worked as a Registered Nurse in both acute and long-term care settings, taking on leadership roles in risk management, quality assurance, and patient safety. In 2018, she transitioned into the legal field as a Nurse Analyst at Gwin Steinmetz & Baird, using her clinical background to support the defense of healthcare providers.

In May 2024, Johanna joined Oldham Law, where she continues to apply her expertise to defending long-term care facilities. Her unique combination of nursing and legal experience makes her a trusted advisor in navigating complex healthcare issues.

Outside of work, she enjoys audiobooks, reading, and spending time with her husband and two adult children.
